I haven't finished it yet because I haven't gotten as much time on it as I would've liked (going on it now though) and I'm playing on hardcore, but I'm enjoying it :D

Optimus NYC is my gamertag I just got back into the factory part just got out of rain. I had already gotten past this part on co-op, but I decided to go back through since I missed a lot of what was being said by the characters.

I'm EST.

I'm going to stop playing for now because I want to see the new harry potter goblet of fire never saw it before its on tv now :)

Tomorrow I'm going to play gears nonstop until I beat it.

HOLY CRAP! I just got into that underground part wow... this game is so so beautiful... the art design is incredible. I honestly still can't believe epic pulled this off on the 360. I pray that the Lost Odyssey developers do an equally good job. All of this with a 10 million dollar budget.

I'm currently at Belly of the Beast : Darkest before dawn.. man this game is extremely enjoyable. The voice acting is top notch and just pulls you into the experience perfectly. I haven't beaten the game yet can't believe people said this was short I'm getting quite a bit of mileage out of this game. Then again I haven't had the time to just sit down with it and play the hell out of it for hours on end as of yet.

Yea I'm not into speeding through a game I like to get my money's worth. I mean if this game is considered short it'll be like 2 or 3 months before I beat Blue Dragon.

A game isn't about how fast it can be completed as long as you get a great gaming experience.

Well, there's a lot more to it than that. Sure, on an hour by hour basis the campaign may not be very long, but there's a lot more value to this game beyond that experience. A higher level of difficulty being made available (almost wish it were from the start--but that's okay) along with the ability to play through with a friend on co-op expands that experience.

And on top of that, you have the best (imo) online mode available in any Xbox 360 game--which adds TONS of value to the product. I've played probably 100+ hours of Gears already, and I've barely scratched the surface of the campaign.

I don't think taking your time with something necesarly enhances its value. If it's boom over and done in 10 hours and there's not much incentive to play it again, then it obviously has less value than a game that gives you more modes of play and more to do.

This game is definitly the latter.

A good action game that clocks in at about 10 hours is okay--even without extended value perhaps--but it's always best if it doesn't. And it certainly makes the game worth more to me (and more worth $60).
