What if they released a full fledged mission you could play through via an xbox live demo with some exploration, of course with limitations, but more than anyone has ever been able to explore in a demo before.

Well that was bloody short, and no new pics :(

I think some sort of Combat demo and interaction demo is coming, there is a buzz on the Mass Effect forums and as yet no Bioware staff have denied this.... ((heres to hoping!!))

I reckon it is the intro and the first two levels, and it has a save function that works with the game so you don have to play that section again.

Well what I have heard is that you can add your own biography for your Commander Shepard.

But honestly it doesnt matter if you are female or male it really dont. You ARE Commander Shepard non the less, and obviously they will give you a background stroy ofyou, but what you are going to do is the main point of how you play.

It isn't like Oblivion were you basically make your own character from scratch, with customized class and skill and name and then you play YOU.

Your mission is to find out why Geth is attacking again and so on, so basically they will tell you at some point of Shepards (your) story.

So yeah I agree with you here Grift. In the very beginning I do not think they will reveal much of Shepards story, but as the story (game) unveils itself to the player, I seriously think the council, and other important character will start saying some stuff about Shepards pass and give you hints and such, that way, the background story of Shepard is beginning to grow.

I wouldn't mind more screens. If all it takes are a few screens to wrecks a game then I would say there are more important things to worry about.

One thing I am worried about is the combat. One big flaw in Jade Empire was that the combat was ultimately too simplistic. I hope that isn't the case here but sometimes when I see the gameplay, I get this wierd feeling that it might.
