I told a local indie game seller I know that Ubi were selling it at an event the other day and he let me have a copy yesterday! :D
I don't think I can say anymore than that review really, it looks, sounds and plays superbly. The AI seems to be quite varied though, you can be right next to a guy who won't notice you but another instance will have someone notice you from a long distance.
Oh and the directed moments are short but awesome (only had the innocent guy and skydiving so far)

lol what in the world? This game is actually turning out to be extremely good?
This totally caught me off guard I wasn't expecting much from this.
Its currently sitting on a 90% rating.

High production values create a thick, heavy atmosphere and a rich in-depth storyline. Yes, a real storyline. Excellent interface, objective pages and menus.
9.0 Graphics
This gorgeous game is layered with multiple textures, special effects, and slick animations. It delivers 30 FPS with occasional drops in both single and multiplayer modes.
9.5 Sound
Excellent sound effects coincide with the dynamic soundtrack. There is surprisingly worthwhile dialog.
9.0 Gameplay
Sharper AI and more NPCs help to create a tighter stealth game. A wide variety of levels plus branching storylines equal great Splinter Cell.
9.0 Lasting Appeal
The single-player game is about 8-10 hours; but you'll want to play it again. The 3-on-3 MP mode is more accessible than Chaos Theory's co-op mode and is progressively more fun.
9.0
Outstanding OVERALL
(out of 10 / not an average)

Hence the different choices you can make....
Also looks like there are a couple of ways to get from point A to point B:
Simple example:
Use the elevator..
Climb a Pipe..
or go trough a vent..
Unlock weapons/gadgets by completing certain objectives in Singleplayer are also a nice touch...
Multiplayer:
Xbox live is out at the moment so i gave System Link a spin.
You can do Co-op missions for unlockable's in multiplayer: Different Skins, Artwork, Videos, ETC
So far haven't seen a flaw in the game...

Eight to ten hours, is that it..?!
Unless you're an online gamer, you're getting screwed over more and more, how many hours will a singleplayer campaign last in a year or two, 1-2 hours..?
(If there is any at all)
Unbelievable...

You can rush through most action games in under 10 hours.
