I'm quite sure everyone has already seen it, but I'll post it anyway. Here is a "stolen" video of Project Gotham Racing 3 filmed during the press presentation a few days ago. Compared to the original video this reencoded one is a bit brighter, it might help a bit.

I recommend everyone take a peak at those, as well as this one on Xboxyde
I'm totally convinced.
You can hear the guy saying that framerates are only getting better too, they are "very peaceful" about that aspect, for those who care.

Sweet looking game, and with the traditional PGR gameplay... I'm sold.

One thing we can now be very sure of is that this game is in no way going to hit 60fps; with a more realistic 30fps for the most part.. with occasional noticeable drops below this (as with the original PGR)..

What a shame .. but I suppose once there will be hope for PGR4 that they might just have learned how to take full advantage of the 360 by then.

disagree. PGR2 on xbox had very stable framerate i think Pgr3 will be the same.

They'll lock it at 30 if they can't hit any higher.

Let's just hope that they can keep it steady at 30fps.. but it's looking like we might have to put up with a lot of drops well below 30..

It's still a beta and they have a few weeks to optimize the game. I'm totally confident they'll manage to lock the framerate.

Question: Will this be more "sim" rather than arcade this time around? Also, will you be able to upgrade your cars like in GT? Thats why I loved GT so much, you could upgrade your cars and all...

No, they absolutely do NOT want people to upgrade their cars. Everyone just uses "stock" cars, nothing can be tuned or whatever.
And that makes me VERY happy, this tuning stuff made Forza totally not fun for someone like who loves racing but could not care less about getting a few more km per hour by changing dozens of settings.

This game looks so f-ing crazy there is no words for the bump mapping blur the depth of the game it s looking to be one of the greatest games racing games yet
