the problem with the feeling is that the camera is always the same

does anyone know Virtua Striker? After ISS 64 this is the best soccer game for me ;) why? the camera isnt that far away and the animations rock and you really get the feeling to be in the game.. its hard to explain ^^

the thing ive hated about the fifa games is? that the players always look tike they glide over the floor and the ball phisics(spelt that wrong) never looked right..
And it looks like it still has same probs as last ones but just looks alot better..
oh well it is a EA game so!!!!!hehehe

Nice visuals, but as mentioned above the players and the ball physics don't have the real life fluidity that PES has.

I can only dream what PES next gen will look like, we know how it will play :)

Not bad, they are definitely hitting the "uncanny valley" as far as player faces go. I don't like the fact that they are only including international teams in this release, especially when they are still behind Pro Evo as far as playability goes.

The grass looks the right length in the screens!

as much as i like pro evo/we, the graphics were never up there. and call me crazy, but i always thought the player movement and somewhat of the gameplay was more realistic in fifa than pro evo..pro evo tends to play a little fast, but that's why i prefer it anyway.
i just hope the next pro evo will have the graphics to match its gameplay.

Always liked fifa over pro only because fifa is more realistic, pro more of a arcade football game! EA releasing some good games so far :D

Well, the problem with the last PES versions is (was?) that they couldn't really afford to create a new engine, due to the 12-months developing cicles. So they simply kept upgrading the old Renderware engine the best they could. A next-gen PES for Xbox360 (PS3 too, I'd say) is already in works, but it won't be coming out before Q3 2006. And that's good news, in a way. :)

P.S.: true volumetric grass, at last!

my god this game looks disgracefully bad...but it is fifa which hasn't been good since 94 on the snes...maybe 99 on ps1...since then pro evo is king

considering is the first try on a next gen system, expecting too much of an improvement may be too much, fifa 07 should tell us more.. but this will be nice to get a taste

The xbox version also runs at 720p and looks very similar. I don't think this is particularly impressive.
