and as the audience grows older the game must move with the times, as long as the core gameplay remains the same (i mean bomber man is bomber man no matter how the game character looks)
people tha played bomberman when they were young could well be in their late 20's early 30's now, and imo these game companies are reflecting that. by making there characters grow up too.

I somewhat like the new look, however if it affects the gameplay in the slightest it won't be worth it.
The original would definately be a good XBLA game though.

I always loved Bomberman (come on, what's more fun that blowing your friends up in a frantic enclosed arena?) and I'm sure I'll like this one too.
It looks great, but honestly, I'd take either this or an XBLA 'Evolved' version. I just hope this isn't going to be $60. That's like charging $60 for Chessmaster...

Would have just preferred a port of one of the many decent original bomberman games to live arcade instead. The screens don't look that great and I can probably do without the japanenglish "BOMMER" crapola.

I read this arcticle and found "First Person Bommer". I got confused like any other people like PlumbDrumb.....
But I'm Japanese and can read arcticle. (and I can't write correct English.sorry!)
Under this article(second page) it says so:"strictly, this is NOT first person camera, but as a Naming of new style, it names FPB mode"
Don't worry, this is 3rd person game. But it has a Confusing naming.
