Capcom just put online the new version of the official Dead Rising homepage, that I've almost instantly decompiled to extract these images and this new trailer (with horrible sound included). Looks like fun!

When he tries the food, it dosnt look real it looks last gen. I want him to get a knife cut that watermelon in half and eat it like a normal person would, this isnt next gen.

People are Dumb, They would rather times X2 / X6 AA with framerate drops everywhere, than a few jaggies at constant 60fsp..

Yup, low res textures and the rest but it looks awsome fun. Capcom are great at this knid of thing. Preferred the old look top the hero though plus his textures have been downgraded. Can you get in the tank a run all the futher muckers over?

Edram , tiling & 4XAA have nothing to do with 30 or 60 frames.
And there is really no reason for a game like this to run at 60 fps.
@MunkyMagic nobody can speak about hi or low res textures judging from upscaled screenshots that emanate from a low res videoclip.

I don't know what you mean with tiling..
But this is also the reason that Xenos has its separate daughter chip (edram) to perform 2X or 4X AA with only a 5% performance hit .
The procedure required to get 4XAA is named Tiling because you have to divide the screen into multiple portions (tiles) that fit within the eDRAM render buffer space.
Now tiling is a procedure that programmers must use to their engine in order to get this 4AA "free".
If they dont use it and they follow some traditional technique for AA they ll get the same performance hit like any other gpu.

I fully agree with what F2hunter says BTW, the games looks so flawless when at 60fps gives it a true arcade feel. I really hope in general western developers follow with aiming at 60fps as standard.
A demo is out soon no?

f2hunter , what i wanted to tell you is that AA in Xenos it's up to how capcom (and any developer) will use the edram and not from the 30 or 60 fps.
The problem with 60fps IMO is that you waste alot of your geometry (poly budget) just to get a silky smooth framerate (60fps) when you can have smooth frame rate (30fps) and more effects or geometry.
If we speak for a racing game i ll agree that 60 fps are very good .
But for a zombie game or a slow shooter IMO is a waste of gpu power !

Ignore screens... they always appear to have no aa, but then we get the final game and it has antialiasing.
Also 4xaa practically does nothing to the 360 gpu if they use the tiling method which I assume they did.

I have already explained this in lay terms AND technical terms. I also linked you to the ATI architect interviews AND detailed schematics of the pipeline and features.
Just because you do not understand it does not give you an excuse to keep repeating the same mistakes.
4xMSAA is a 1-5% hit due to tiling of the framebuffer. There is (a) no memory bandwidth penalty and (b) no ROP processing (i.e. AA calculation) penalties.
THIS IS NOT A TRADITIONAL GPU. There is a reason MS/ATI dedicated 90M transistors -- 27% of the entire GPU -- to eDRAM. There is a reason the PS2 and GCN use eDRAM.
Consoles are a fixed resolution/platform solution, unlike PCs, and therefore can use such achitectures. If you don't understand this go to a CS degree but please stop repeating the PC-fanatical errors.
