Graphically this is freaking awesome, but strangely I can't seem to get excited with this game. Maybe I just need to know more about the gameplay.

The screens look great, but i was wondering how is the frame rate? Does the trailer show any slowdown at all? I am on 56k, so i am a little put off with downloading anything cause it takes forever, but i was wondering if there was any noticable framerate problems.

The trailer is pretty good basically this game has ALOT more development time left and I noticed some frame rate drops here and there in some of the gameplay videos, but they are nothing to fear it seems like such a slight drop that they can easily have that hammered out come the release of this game.

I REALLY hate the blood splatter effect it always takes me out of the experience they are trying to create they gotta tone that crap down.

does anybody know if there will be more weapons than shotgun, pistol, granade and the rifle (with a saw)? And if we will be able to take weapons from enemies? Btw looks really really nice!

Wow. Those videos of the demo on Gamespot are just...mind-blowing.

Now THAT'S gameplay folkes.

More impressed with that gameplay footage than I am with this trailer.

In the past Cliffy has commented that you should be able to take the Locust weapons.
(not to mention the grenade types, and everything else we know nothing about)

Saw Cliffy B doing some gameplay yesterday on G4. Wow... Most amazing shooter ever. And the frame rate wasn't bad at all... At least steady 30fps as far as I could tell. This game cannot come soon enough.

Seriously though. That was a pretty nice trailer. some great lighting effects showed.

But, Chainsaw? c'mon.
Blood splatter sucks imo
and the shot near the end where the beams shot down and blew up the city, the explosion just sucked. honestly.

This game is like the coolest comic book I could have ever read but didn't. The characters and the style is amazing. I've got to put down a vote for "yes" on the blood splatter as well. It's totally over the top but really cool every time a slug sinks into him a bunch of blood sprays out. Blood is good *licks lips*...
