Capcom released these images of Dead Rising, which really isn't pretty nowadays. I really don't get the whole (Dead Rising) zombie hysteria right now.

Well considering the huge amount of zombies there's in the scene, I can forgive the graphics. Besides this game looks like LOADS of fun to play, and in action with motion blur it does look pretty good!

This seems to me like a game that is being done just because it can be done more than someone thought it was planned at all. However after playing the awesome Lost Planet demo I have new faith in Capcom making this a good game.

To be fair, yeah true this has lots of people on screen, but how does it look any different compared to WWE smackdown Vs Raw 06 on the PS2 ? The graphics are identical, i just hope it wont get repititve.

It looks good, I really hope the tweak the UI/HUD though as it really doesn't look like it belongs, tbh I wish they'd remove the HUD altogether and only put the bare essentials in there (time, objective, etc). I'd prefer this game not to have a "health meter" but rather your character would get beat up and slow down so that if you were really hurt the zombies would just swarm you with no escape.

Smackdown vs. Raw has a maximum of 4 characters on screen at any one time and comparitively low polygon count and texture resolution.
What Dead Rising is doing is insane and it looks like so much fun. I have no idea why you would want to put a cone on your own head but you can do it, and that is what matters! :P

Time is supposed to be integral to the gameplay here. I hope that's the only reason they left the forearm watch shot in because it looks truly out of place. The rest of it looks not bad to me.

What I meant was - "I really don't get the whole (Dead Rising) zombie hysteria right now.", which I wrote. I didn't complain about the graphics, but the fact that people seems to praise the game just because there are zombies in it. Zombies are like soo 1998.
Well, for me at least. I thought State of Emergency was OK, but I'm not looking forward to this game at all. Seems a little bit too generic for my taste.
