there have been a few little 'trailers' . some from japanese tv spots and some from various events. the newest is probably one of the most impressive though. i'm not sure if it was pre-rendered though. it's the one with the giant robot and the main hero in the little fish-like airship thing. at least, IMO

there was a tv spot or something that showed the water in motion about a year ago. actually, when i saw these pics, i thought they were all old, as none of them really screamed anything that i didn't already know about.

after seing the new mario galaxy running on a wii I can defo say that this is possible on a 360 lol. Wii mario looks very impressive for something running on what is essentially an upgraded gamecube.

I really cannot wait for this, i'm a huge fan of RPG's and an even bigger fan of Akira Toriyama's work, the visuals in the game look hugely impressive and show that games don't need to be "realistic" to look great.

Would love to see some more of this, and in 720p.

Yeah the wii is now a must have for me. A uk price of around 150 quid is expected. Which is 60 quid cheaper than a core 360. Sure its slower but the controller kicks ass. I hope the 360 gets more jap rpgs at the moment there are only the mistwalker ones and enchant arm. They do all look great. What would make my year is if at TGS MS announce a final fantasy game.

Microsoft will hype this game like crazy going into TGS you can be sure of that ;)

The reason I bought the 360 is this game here. They seem to be showing only old media they have more surely :)

They are obviously keeping this game extremely close to their chest then will have some huge unveiling at TGS.

Frankly MS would do well to hype the heck out of all Mistwalker's games, as they fill a niche that is otherwise rather lacking in the 360's library. With all the publicity that FFXIII generated for the PS3, MS needs games like BD and LO to show that they can give 360 fans something comparable.

Peter Moore seems very confident that Lost Odyssey is the most innovative rpg in years and he believes it easily competes with final fantasy.

He referred to blue dragon like dragon quest, but toriyama said he would've never taken the job for blue dragon if it was remotely like dragon quest.

Just check out the reflections in that water.... the trees, both characters EVERYTHING is reflected.

there's a few other japanese rpgs on the way so don't forget those. like the one from namco, which they confimed at the cancellation of Frame City Killer. then Far East of Eden is actually getting localized, although most say the game is terrible, and there was another tactical RPG we saw a bit back, Spectral Force 3, which has always been about a generation behind the platform it's on ;) (the PS2 versions looked like PS1 versions...)
