Namco already released some brand new images of Trusty Bell, as always very colorful, and some of them are even in 720p resolution, a major surprise for a japanese publisher!
Update : Added 3 more 720p images!

this game's visual style looks fantastic and is just the kind of game the 360 needs, in my opinion. the combat looks most interesting of all, i hope we get some more info/videos

I hope the gameplay and storytelling are interesting enough for me, because I don't like every japanese rpg that gets good reviews. For instance, Tales of Symphonia bored me after about 10-15 hours even though the game got very good reviews.

This game look good. For some reason some of the pics remind me of cinderella. I dont know why. Odd, isnt it.

it has good graphics, but in the 720p images, specially the one with the bridge, looks like there are low res textures....

Namco is pretty good for doing that, I'm pretty sure they will considered how few xbox360 have been sold in Japan..

I'm finaly happy that I got my Xbox 360 now :), They beter release this in europe, or at least region free copy in US if they decide to not release in europe. Not many games comes here after all ><
At least http://images.xboxyde.com/gallery/public/3655/1099... truly show what the next cell shading games are capable off, really visual stunning.

If there's one thing I like about Japanese games it's the art style. When all western developers are trying to make their games look ultra realistic you have something as colorful as this coming from Japan. No wonder I have only one western developed game in my collection (Metroid Prime)

It doesn't ... ??

Besides name me a game that doesn't look better in scrtipted cut-scenes, although i can't see how you have come to the conclusion when we have only seen a few captured screens.

I must agree with that.. That picture of the bridge looks like a PS2 game ! Although the game has some very pretty moments , I cant say that it makes say WOW! I dunno but when we were used to see games from a new generation.. the graphics always looked like an unbelievable achievment.. Is the same feeling I got when I saw that video of Mass Effect the other day..Thats when you look at somthing new and you try to understand how better the graphics could look after that, even though you can't really understant it cause you havent see anything like it.. I believe thats the feeling that all the next-generation xbox users should get...It was the same feeling Sony gave to its fans with that FAKE KillZone 2 pre-rendered video.It was after all but still its what gamers want! To rub their eyes and try to understant how is possible for graphics like that to be playable...Some Pictures of trusty bell gave me that feeling.. But most of them dont

Depends how you look at it i guess, if you want realistic graphics all the time then sure, but there are many people who like Japanese art style and even if you can't see it, this is a generation leap.

It's probably because your less interested in this kind of art style, personally i wasn't overly impressed with Mass Effect because I'm not a fan of realistic art design.

I find Mass Effect technically impressive where as find this and Blue Dragon more visally impressive.
That picture of the bridge looks like a PS2 game.
Have you ever played a PS2 ? Perhaps you need your eyes tested.. :S

This game looks absolutely gorgeous!!!
I love the art-style, the characters, the cell-shaded graphics and the battle-system looks to be great fun !!! :D

With a dash of AA this game would look great. Lack of jaggies would really compliment the style. I hope they understand to add it.

Yep, by cleaning out those slight jaggies this would be amazing, but even if it looks like this when released it wont be a big problem.

Strange because Kameo is supposed to use 4x AA but i can still see jaggies in it.

I don't think 4 x AA is enough to get rid of ever jaggy.

And still captures naturally show up more jaggies. Here is an example.
