GC06: Forza 2 trailer

Microsoft shown this new Forza 2 trailer during their press conference, once again using the assets of the game but rendered as CGs. Still it looks awesome. Sorry about the view angle, we weren't invited at the conference so we had to improvise.

I'm still surprised that they still haven't released an ingame shots or video yet, especially if they're going to release the game this year (though the GC hinted that the game may be early next year).
I even asked Che (turn 10 community manager) why we still haven't seen any ingame shots and his reply:

Forza might pass Gran Turismo at some point soon, but I am sick of racing games on rails. TDU is on the top of my list. New demo tomorrow.

They took screens for an unnamed magazine two weeks ago, and then some more for a second magazine the friday just gone. The magazines will have paid quite a bit for exclusive rights to show the games first screens, so they're not going to break the agreement.
And as far as I know, they're still trying to get it ready for Fall. According to the Weekly PitPass Report, they're in the finalising stages.

wtf kinda shit is this? Theres so much hype and talk over this game, and its been annouced for like 2 years now, but theres not one piece of real footage from the game. Not even a screenshot. Just a whole bunch of CGI videos. So....is this gonna actually be a game or just a movie?
oh a Fall release? yeah...maybe Fall 2007. If they're not even at a stage where they can show the game yet, how can they release it in a months time?

And yes its releasing fall 06... side by side with the MS wheel that was developed for it
and consider they said its 60fps hard locked... and over 200-300fps of physics refresh... this shi*s gonna be unreal... and especially with the wheel having rumble + full force feeback HELL YAZZZZZ

forza needs to get rid of its annoying rock music for the sequel. just like they borrowed the UI style and other elements, they need to borrow the musical style from gran turismo!

this realy is the only rival to gran turisimo. why would they show yet ...just to give the competitors some ideas..NO.
