During the Intel Developer Forum conference last night, Remedy was invited to show how Alan Wake looks today. It was played on a PC, but the Xbox 360 version shouldn't be much different. Do I have to say it looks awesome?

Now THAT is impressive. At times like these im really proud to be Finnish :) That's the best looking game i've ever seen. Kudos to Mika for interacting with fan community directly, first game developer i've seen to do that.

I just can't see this cream in my pants awesomeness on the 360.
The developer promised it would "look good", but didn't say it will looke this good.
Framerate problems? Why not show 360 version instead since there are more 360 owners then Monster gaming PC owners.

This is definitely promising, it's like Twin Peaks made into a game which is perfect.
AND THAT WAS PLAYING ON THE 360, did you notice the controller in his hand? If that's the 360's power with its cores used to the max, then PS3 can go bye-bye.

Well, one thing is for sure. The 360 version will look better than Alan Wake on the majority of PC owner's rigs.

What really amazes me about the new technologies that we're seeing is that developers now have the tools to create dynamic worlds.
I can remember years ago being awe struck at the beauty of Halo and it's static skies and slightly swaying trees. Then some short years later we had Far Cry and Half Life, and I thought those environments were the most beautiful I'd ever seen. But Alan Wake's environment is just plain unbelievable.
