The weekly update of the Blue Dragon site was late but it was worth it since besides the usual 2 images we get to see the first minute and a few of the game! Let's just hope we can deactivate this annoying voice, but otherwise this looks great!

And it would be awesome if Sakaguchi made something similar to Parasite Eve for 360, that game was amazing.

I believe Vagrant Story and ff9 came out the exact same year.
Man I'm just trying to imagine what else he has planned for the 360 aside from Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon 2, Cry On. The 360 practically has its own Squaresoft =P
I mean sure they'll have to release a number of titles atleast 2 to 3 for people to realize these guys put out nothing but quality games, but there will come a time when people aren't just wondering what Square Enix, level 5 or sotc developers are working on, but what in the world is Mistwalker doing as well :)
Honestly how many times have you guys watched this? If I had to guess I'd say maybe over 50 times for me. I just love the way this looks. I especially like the little touches such when he's about to step into the water how the blades of grass kick up or how they perfectly timed when the camera zoomed out giving you control of the game with the tone of the music. Attention to detail attention to detail!
You saw when he kicked that rock at 1:08 into it. A nice touch they could add to blue dragon 2 is when he kicks such a thing do more to show that he maybe hurt his foot or something like a nice context sensitive action with him hopping on one leg holding his foot that would be cool.

Nice to see the game I purchased my 360 for is turning out to be just as good as I expected it to be. In many ways it has exceeded my expectations.

It already has a lot going against it. The obviously young, cute looking characters and it doesn't appear to contain the type of violence most people seem to crave and its a new title that doesn't have a strong history behind it that will protect it from unfair reviews.

Game is looking good. Cant wait to pick it up in 5 days.
Famitsu has already reviewed BD and it recieved some nice marks. Western reviewers however will likely attack it for no apparent reason as they typically do with anything that doesnt involve headshots.
As for a US/EU release, I wouldnt expect it to be too long. (Gears is coming to japan in a little over a month for the guy who was comparing.) I would predict sometime in spring, april or so. Thats just an opinion though, we need a solid date.
