Blue Dragon videos!

A japanese gamer had the chance to find Blue Dragon a few days before the official release date, and had the excellent idea to broadcast his discovery of the game via a peercast. I've of course captured it as soon as I heard about it, and I'll reencode some parts of it when I find something interesting. The spoiler videos will be marked as such.
As expected from a stream the quality is very average, and I've had a very very hard time finding a way to reencode it too. The pauses in the video are due to this process, the actual game is of course very smooth.

Update3: And yet another video, and it's party time at Maru-Maro's village! When Uematsu goes crazy, it's almost scary :)
Update4: Less fun than the last one, this new video should please the fans of jRPGs as it shows the overworld. The others will certainly behave much like the bear at the end of the video and maybe should keep out of the comments ;)

oh ps! the graphic in FF7 at that time was fucking amazing with it's CGI enivorment.

You know when I knew ff7 was going to be something special? When I escaped from the soldiers after completing the first mission with avalanche and I hopped onto that train and as I was inside. Then when we arrived at avalanche headquarters I just knew it would be incredible.

99.9% that it won't be multi-region. There hasn't been a multi-region JPN 360 game yet, and I don't see why they would start doing it now.

Each single years, arround xmas i finish chrono trigger. (HUGE FAN of old school rpg) Blue dragon seem to have a big touch of old schoolness :p so if this game can give me third of the fun i get playing chrono, i might and up finishing it every years ^^
PS: Im so pleased to see Toriyama, Nobuo and Hironobu work together again. Theres no way a jrpg fan refuse to get this game.

No it's a bonus.
If you notice how you can get more than one enemy in the scan ring when you start a fight, the more you have in the ring, the more waves of enemies you have to fight, but you get a bonus for ever wave you defeat, kind of a neat feature.
It's the same for when you want to start a monster fight.
I saw a video today, where a monster fight battle started and one of them started eating the other with a knife and fork. :S

I'm not really impressed with this game, it's too japanese for me. what better way to waste dvd's than to fill them with high-res videos...damn can't they just use in-engine sequences instead...they'd have had no problem fitting it on 1 dvd then probably

The horror that is the Blue Dragon boss battle music. Why oh why oh why did they do that? ....WHY?! Please remove that boss music ..please oh my god I can't believe it honestly...this is what my reaction was...honestly -_-...I still can't believe this.
Anyways the game looks fun. Environments are nice to look at and as with any RPG watching someone play you can't really get the feel for it.
The battles look underwhelming unfortunately I just hope we can get some more intense battles because these look rather bland.
Nice art style but the character models look like they could have been pulled off on Xbox or PS2.
Heres to hoping the game is good. (oh yeah and I hope they remove that girls voice I can see that getting annoying fairly quickly)
Awesome music in this game! (with the exception of the boss battle music >=( please die)

We aren't havingh to pay extra for these disc's, I think the cutscenes were done outside of Mistwalker to save time on development, I've read Studio robot did them.
