Blue Dragon videos!

A japanese gamer had the chance to find Blue Dragon a few days before the official release date, and had the excellent idea to broadcast his discovery of the game via a peercast. I've of course captured it as soon as I heard about it, and I'll reencode some parts of it when I find something interesting. The spoiler videos will be marked as such.
As expected from a stream the quality is very average, and I've had a very very hard time finding a way to reencode it too. The pauses in the video are due to this process, the actual game is of course very smooth.

Update3: And yet another video, and it's party time at Maru-Maro's village! When Uematsu goes crazy, it's almost scary :)
Update4: Less fun than the last one, this new video should please the fans of jRPGs as it shows the overworld. The others will certainly behave much like the bear at the end of the video and maybe should keep out of the comments ;)

I think I will like this Blue Dragon game. It reminds me a lot of other roleplaying games that I have played. Games that are available mainly on Sega's consoles. Some areas look a little bit empty and simplistic, but if the size of the game is big, then it doesn't bother me much.

The boss song is the worst song ever. In the history of humanity.
Not only does the singer sound amazingly retarted, but the music is a cheesy mix of lame rock riffs and even lamer jazz bits.

If the game is 40-60 hour long,and they might use 1080pCGI ofc its gonna take a lot of space,to change a disc every 17th hour that takes 10 sec,it isn't annoying or hard for anyone.
But if you do think the game is to japanese and dislike it,ofc you gonna dislike the use of CGI also...
Cgi can make some cutscenes looks much more "real" and intresting.
Look at the CGI footage from ff9 was some of the coolest ever.
I changed 4 cd's with ff8 and ff9 never bothered me for a second.

About the boss battle,they use legendary rock singer Ian Gillan for the music,ofc we have no idea if this music is only for "mini" bosses or some bosses,but i like it like hell.
It makes me wanna kick that boss like hell :)

I don't get it. Why does this game suck? I thought Uematsu was doing the music for this game. But all I hear is cheap MIDI soundbits when you're exploring and no orchestra, only time i've heard it in trailers. This game looks like it will get boring real fast. But what I like is you don't have to fight anybody throughout the whole game except for bosses. But then, that sucks... Impressive graphics though.
Although graphics aren't everything. It's just another JRPG I'll get sick of. Pass.

Vids like this never work, watching someone else play is always a bit of a snore fest, but hey its still ok. Just cant wait to play the game myself.
