Ace Combat 6 on Xbox 360!

Surprise, Famitsu unveiled today that Ace Combat VI, the next instalment in the famous air combat series, would be released before the end of the year on Xbox 360 (exclusively as far as we can tell). And with online too, it's an excellent news! First "scan" inside.

Looks beautiful from those screens. However, like any flying game ever, I suspect the beauty soon disappears once you drop below 5,000ft. Still, it's one to keep my eye on.

Grim times for Sony, between this and Devil May Cry 4 for 360. And Sakaguchi hinted in an interview that FFXIII on 360 is a strong possibility by smirking and stating the White Engine was open platform.

So whats the point of getting a PS3 now? VF5 and DMC4 were the only reason I wanted one and since both are coming to the 360 there is no reason for me to buy one. I wanted to get NG sigma but I guess I'll wait for NG2 instead. I own NG and NGB.

I hope the gameplay turns out to be more of a PGR-style flight game than a Burnout style game. I don't think most want a hardcore flight sim, but having aircraft with real 360 degree total freedom and a flight model that rewards/penalizes for mastering the flight model. I love flight games... I hate ones that turn into circular air battles. I don't mind if they have exaggerated world terrain to give people ground to hide behind and manuever and such, just as long as there is some skill in flying.

What the hell i didn't even know this series was still alive, i tired the first 3 games and they where all exactly the same exept for some graphical updates. The same shitty basic oversimplified gameplay, as much as i like seening the 360 grab "exlusives" form the ps3 this is one game the 360 can do without.
