I think Forza Motorsport 2 is the worst example of a game that you either like or hate with a passion, ever since it was unveiled last year up to now every thread about this game was trolled to death. So even if I didn't like this game a lot (and I do), I'd be happy to finally see it released so we can finally move on. Thankfully, after playing the preview build quite a bit and seeing that the final one was pretty much the same I'm now in Forza 2 lovers camp, even if the game definitely won't win prizes for its graphics. There is an incredible joy when playing this game with a fast car, especially using the Force Feedback wheel. Grinning for ears to ears while playing a racing simulation is definitely a first for me, so I'm the first surprised by how much I enjoy this game.
Anyway, the first 10 minutes video is encoded at 60 frames per seconds, so the 720p version requires a monster computer to run smoothly. You've been warned :)

I'm not a racing games fan, but I'm happy it was released. Good games are always welcome on x360 :P
I just hope that some more games will be released soon, there are no new games to play since crackdown.

Blim can you comment on the customizability of the force feedback? Che had mentioned it I believe. I really wasn't 100% happy with the feel of the feedback in the demo.

NOOO! The last 720p60 video that a tried to play (the last forza one) I couldn't play properly! Grr. I guess i'll have to settle for the low res version...

I agree with u blimblim, i will be very happy with the release of this game. The graphics may not be top notch, but everything elese is, so forza wins. GAF is so fki*** hard with this game...w8...with every game.

Are there no loading times for starting up races or were they just cut out? They were in the demo but I didn't think I saw any here.

I really like Forza 2. The game has nice gfx superb handling, SMOOTH 60fps, customisation, physics, online modes etc. it feels like solid and polished true next gen racer unlike e.g. Dirt (30fps and below, screen tearing, very bad handling (with or without wheel), way too strong bloom all over the screen etc.)

I really hope GTR is still on the way to XBOX 360, because i am definitly not buying this fugly game. I've played the demo several times again, but this game can't get my attention any longer. The gameplay can't weight out all the flaws for me. It's not only the underwhelming bad graphics, but also the coloring of the cars. Anything is dark and black. Even if there is a car with bright colors (for example yellow) in front of me, most areas of the car looks dark/black. What have they thought about that? Even if i tune up brightness to 100% on my tv, it doesn't virtually affect anything. Many other people also complains about that issue, so it can't be my TV. This is just a big impertinence of T10. I am not driving behind some black somewhat/blot. After all that lies to the customers about the game, i really hope this puts some consequences to T10.

I don't like the fact that it's basically Forza with better graphics. Menus, options, career, tracks, everything looks like first game. That's what I always hated about the GT series and now T10 does the exact same thing. After 100+ hours with Forza Motorsport, winning all races and owning all cars I'm really not interested to do it all again.

Hmm...why is all the sequel to xbox hit titles don't have the huge jump in graphics department but all new IP of xb360 has incredible crazy ass graphics?

It's been like a rollercoaster ride with me and Forza 2. At first I was stoked, then I saw the screenshots, then I was excited again after hearing about the online, then I was disappointed in the demo, and that's really where I stand today. After playing the Dirt demo and seeing an in-game render of the COCKPIT VIEW (!!!) in GT5, I really don't think the hype is going to pick up again.

After playing this game for a few hours tonight, i can easily tell you that its worth every pound, dollar or euro. If you just slightly like cars you are going to love this game.
Physics is so much better this time around, i thought the cars in FM felt a little to light almost like go-carts, but they have done a great job this time to make the cars feels alot more heavier and realistic. And even the differences between FWD/AWD and RWD are much greater. And im still wondering why people complain so much about the graphics... the only way u are going to see some cars is in customization or if u are a really bad driver anyways ;) the rest of the time its just some gages and the track. But even when u see the other cars i think they look great, maybe not fantastic, but great.

RC_Master to play the 720p version, Just stick it on a usb stick and play it on your 360. Looks nice, not stunning but nice, but this game is all about the game play not stunning graphics.

After playing Dirt demo, unlike others, I decided to buy this one. Movement of the cars were too much awkward and unnatural in Dirt, while in Forza 2 it was slick and natural. It wasn't bad, actually it was fun, but it felt just odd. Without a doubt I'll pick Forza 2 and I guess that Forza 2 will get high review score over Dirt or other racing games in 2007. All in all, Forza 2 rocks, and no more I care haters. :)

Does anybody have any experiance with the FX racing wheel from Logitech? I don't want to pay 4 times as much money for the MS one and Logitech is known for having the best peripherals out there.
