Full tan and free cocktails, okay, but enough is enough. No need to get sick of it. That's why I took the time to make a little Gamersyde Diaries on The Bourne Conspiracy while at the Sierra Spring Break '08.

What is it with the Gears hate?
First the video comes up, and people feel they have to say that there has been little improvement and it is effectively Gears 1.5
And now the screenshots; people feel they have to state about the added AA and how they're bullshots, so it must be too good to be true. One person has pointed it out, why does it have to be the topic of the thread?
Give it a rest. The screens look great, and I fail to see the difference between the screens and the game in motion.

These are bullshots, yes, but they only added AA. Animation and lighting beat Killzone 2, or at least what we've seen so far. They didn't manage to include screen-space ambient occlusion, I guess it's too expensive. It still looks great and on smaller levels will look even better.

People talking about the colours need to remember that Gears had some lovely colour filter options that really changed the way the game looked.

I mean, shouldn't we be expecting a sequel to look like its original? Especially seeing as they're both released on the same console.

I cannot believe those are real Xbox 360-screenshots. It has so much AA that I'm sure these are from a PC-version. And otherwise: wow!

It shows the 'disappointments' of what we've seen so far, but has gone on to suggest that the video we've seen is from an early build and that the magazine scans we've seen are a more accurate reflection of the game's visual state.
