The game looks great, and vader & yoda are a nice addition. I'm not liking the manga girl tho, she is too out of place. But still this game will kick ass, I got to play it at playlive event last month and loved it even tho only 2 characters were available to play with (cassandra and taki)

I'm not disagreeing that the other "guests" are out of place.. but how are they any more out of place than Yoda and Vader? Is that even possible?

I just find it easier thinking of Yoda and Vader as bonus characters because they're so out of place. I also find it disappointing that guest designers were brought in to come up with characters, and they seem to be failing pretty badly at creating anything even mildly cool and interesting. Not fitting in is just icing on a shitty cake.

I prefer the second one.. Soul Calibur is about weapons--dual katanas FTW.

doesn't matter if yoda and vader are out of place, because they are only guest characters and do not have any part in the sc universe. They are only there as a bonus for star wars fans (there are many of us) and whoever wants to use em.

I'm a huge Star Wars fan, and I think they're too out of place. The whole concept of guest characters and guest designers really bothers me. There is a such thing as too much of a good thing.

Get rid of all the Soul Calibur characters and just bring in the Star Wars cast and make the lightsabers really work like lightsabers
