it looks pretty cool tbh but i recently put my faith in EA with army of two and while i enjoyed it, it was definately a dissapointment. so i dont really wanna fall into any sort of hype for this game incase it does the same thing. looks and sounds decent tho.

You realize this game and Army of Two are made by two entirely different companies right

Maybe you shouldn't give in to the hype of the new C&C too, or the next Mass Effect, or Madden, or NHL, or MLB

its EA, no matter the company involved they tend to have the ability to destroy things. just look at the burnout series. or battlefield. or command and conquer....or....or...or...you get the picture.

I think this is the way you should think about new games: What does it allow me to think, feel and do as opposed to "Oh, it stole from this game" and "Eww, EA is behind it?! It suck balls!!1!". For instance...

World War 2 games. There is a lot of them, perhaps too much. Regardless they have one thing in commen: they have their tongues this high up the americans asses. Tired setting but with an interresting twist: what would it be like to play as the germans? The allies knew that in an equal fight the german soldiers would win, so you would be playing with at least some abilities and seeing as the germans were outnumbered you would get a challange worthy of a gamer(I was THIS close to buying Company of Heroes's expansion). To get back on topic:

To me gaming is about problem solving according to your interests. Sci-fi allows for zero gravity that in turn allows for outlandish puzzles and combat for instance. Outside you can breathe most anywhere on Earth, but outside in Dead Space... not so much.
This is allready too much of a rant so I'll try to end it. The bottom line is when you see a new game try to see what options it brings regardless of genre before screaming "it stole from this" or "it's made(published) by those". You just might be surprised!

As for Dead Space I am very interrested in it and keep up on as much as I can. I think it oozes with a mysterious... feeling that also reminds me of Event Horizon. I wonder what abilities Isaac have using his "engineer" suit? As for the suit, I like it. I prefer space marine(adeptus astartes that is) power armour, but I still like Isaac's outfit.

isaac suit can throw and attract objects like a gravity gun in hl2, project a holograms, hack the computers - pretty useful thing.

What's wrong with having an opinion like that anyway? Is it degrading gamers in someway or what? I don't see what there is to get so worked up about...

No, it's not "degrading gamers." I simply find it frustratingly annoying reading banal posts about how game X is copying game Y. I think his incoherence drove my frustration up a few notches as well.
