Electronic Arts released this rather out of the ordinary video of Madden NFL 09 comparing the versions 09 and 08. Looks like the devs over at EA Tiburon did a nice job.

This game will have supposedly have SOME dynamic (physics based) animations, based on some Madden site pages I read and these videos. They're doing their own system.

Not that impressive to me. The only thing I saw that was of note was the stadium shadows.

Didn't see any real noticable difference tbh.. Biggest one I saw was the different texture for the grass and snow, but that's it..
Hopefully (for the fans) they've improved gameplay by adding better physics etc, like you guys were already talking about.. Because graphics won't really chance a lot anymore on this generation of consoles, that's obvious..

Yeah this thing hardly looks different.
I especially liked the part where they decided to compare weather by showing one field with nothing going on and the other with snow. How about comparing with another snow?
The player models probably look disproportionate still with huge fucking heads too from a distance. Show us the player models from the above angle we all play from.
New lighting model? All you did was change the skyline and keep a simple shadow casted
Way to update... in a cosmetic way that's hardly noticeable. Madden is always the same
